Duke K., 8 month old Pekingnese
Duke is my dog and although I have lots to say about him Ill keep it brief. I rescued Duke from the Animal Care and Control where I work. He was being abandoned by his previous owner.He was a two week old Pekinese with a bum eye. When I saw him I fell in love. I took him to school with me every day, bottle fed him and obedience trained him. He is now a one year old Pekinese with a good home.

Rico, 3 year old Manchester Terrier

Rico is a 3 year old Manchester Terrier. When he came to me he was suffering from soft tissue damage to his right hind leg. Rico stayed at my home for a short period to have his leg heal. The thing about him was that he was afraid of the dark. He would wince and cry and make all kinds of sounds when the lights were out. After some time with building positive experiences with being in the dark Rico was cured. He has since found is forever home and is very happy.
